Studio WFO Planning Committee

Ping Ngeow, Studio WFO Chair

Ping is currently the Senior Marketing Associate for San Francisco's TRI Commercial. She holds a BS from Penn State University in business management and an MBA from the University of San Francisco in marketing and entrepreneurship. With her previous experience in customer service and retail management and her love for socializing and event planning, Ping has been able to use her skills and expertise to guide her team through three great years of WFO support. Ping has always been a supporter of community affairs and giving back to help others. She believes in Wardrobe for Opportunity's cause and dedicates her spare time to building awareness for the organization in San Francisco. She believes that social responsibility is necessary but can be fun and effortless at the same time. Knowing that she is helping a great cause and working with a great group keeps her volunteering!

Melanie Dixon, Studio WFO Co-Chair

Melanie currently works in the Controller’s Office at UCSF. She attended St. Mary’s College for her undergraduate degree in International Studies and received her MBA in International Business and Marketing from University of San Francisco. Melanie brings her experience in planning fundraising events and her desire to give back to the community to Studio WFO. She believes in the mission of WFO, and is excited to help raise awareness and bring in funds to assist those who can become self-sufficient and can in turn help others.

Feras Bseiso, Committee Member

Feras is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing for Orange Door Inc., an accounting software start-up. He holds a BA from CSU-Sacramento in Political Science and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He has over 13 years of fashion and retail experience servicing a wide range of clientele in finding their own personal style. He has conducted  image seminars throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento providing style, grooming and presentation guidance culminating with fashion shows. He was first introduced to the cause Wardrobe For Opportunity supports while working with The Men's Wearhouse and has been hooked ever since. He believes his past experience and commitment to servicing local communities is a great fit for the mission and cause that Wardrobe For Opportunities exemplifies. He started working with Studio WFO in 2011 and loves the opportunity to build awareness while meeting great people.

Amber Childress, Committee Member

Amber currently works at Wind River as a Global Partner Ecosystem Manager.  She attended Mills College in Oakland and studied Liberal Studies. She has been a member since 2008 of Windmasters, an Alameda Toastmaster Club. What drew her to WFO was the fact that this organization is taking a very complete approach to resolving an important issue, not just treating the symptoms. Everyone that walks in that door is treated with respect. It’s a great organization and she would like to see it grow exponentially.
